In 2015 the Appellate Court in Burgas confirmed the sentence of Ivan Slavkov for leading an organized crime group, trafficking of human beings for sexual exploitation, solicitation for prostitution with the purpose of gain and drug distribution. The organization was with clearly assigned roles and distribution of the money. The group solicited women to offer sexual services for money in many clubs in the city of Varna and in the summer resorts near this city. Afterwards the women were trafficked to Belgium, Netherlands and France for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Also the group collected money from independent pimps and prostitutes. Another activity of the group was drug distribution. Since the beginning of millennium Ivan Slavkov distanced himself from the activities of organized crime group and became a municipal councilor in Varna. He was also president of a football team. Despite his public activity, he continued to lead the OCG.
