Human Trafficking for Sexual Exploitation - Bulgaria

The criminal enterprise for trafficking for sexual exploitation was established in the mid-nineties of the XX century first in Bulgaria and then abroad. The criminal network controlled victims who were exploited in open public spaces such as streets, but also sex workers engaged in erotic bars, clubs or special flats. All of the victims were women and transsexual women, recruited in Bulgaria, but forced to work also in countries such as France, Netherlands and Belgium.
